Judy Ross Textiles is a New York City–based home textile and design studio internationally recognized for Judy Ross’ signature aesthetic. She has collaborated with leading designers and architects including Robert Couturier, Amy Lau, Eve Robinson, Shamir Shah, India Mahdavi, and Alan Wanzenberg to create pillows, rugs, bedcovers, and fabrics for their clients. Judy Ross is commissioned by hospitality and contract groups to develop dynamic new designs, and her pillows are featured in hotels worldwide.

All-Over Rayon Pillows, Upper East Side

Custom hand-embroidered pillows complement hand-painted de Gourney wallpaper.

For an artist's apartment in Essex House on New York's Central Park South, we took a cherry blossom  hand-painted de Gournay wall covering as the inspiration for a bed pillow entirely chainstitched in rayon threads.

Quartz Rug, Hamptons Home

We worked with TenBerke Architects to create this custom Quartz rug for a media room in the Hamptons. The client wanted something distinctive and slightly playful to complement a deep blue sofa, so we developed a palette of shimmering blue silks set against a cream wool background. The silk motifs are subtly recessed within the raised wool pile, creating a layered surface that adds depth, texture, and quiet movement to the design.

Prism & Composition Pillows, Brooklyn Townhouse

Our hand-embroidered chainstitch pillows adorn the living room of this historic Fort Greene townhouse, originally built in 1853, designed by Frampton Co.

Hand-embroidered Headboard for Casa Xolo, Tulum

We decided on Coffee Tree and its botanical feel as a headboard for the primary bedroom suite of this Tulum villa. The upholstered fabric is made entirely of meticulously hand-embroidered wool chainstitch. The design echoes the lush greenery from the terrace which overlooks the courtyard and pool/tennis court area. Casa Xolo was named one of the top 10 Exceptional Villas in the world (2024) by House & Garden UK.

Pillows in Soft Pastels for a Country Home

For a Hampton show house, Judy designed an array of pillows in soft pastels. Many featured botanical motifs that complemented the large windows and the natural surroundings of the home.

Hand-Embroidered Silk Throw

We created this hand-embroidered throw on a luxurious silk tussah, intricately stitched with fine rayon threads. Rich in texture and craftsmanship, it brought a layer of warmth, luxury, and subtle sophistication to this beautifully curated bedroom designed by Amy Lau Design.

Silk/wool shag.

We collaborated with 2Michaels Design to create a charcoal silk/wool shag in 30mm pile for this Upper West Side apartment.

Celine Rug, Tribeca Loft

Our Celine rug, hand-knotted in wool and silk with a 100-knot weave, adds a touch of color and texture to this Tribeca loft.

Pillows featured in Apartment Therapy

Featured in the home of Maxwell Ryan, founder of Apartment Therapy, these hand-embroidered pillows in our classic Seeds, Clover, Fauna, and Mobile designs bring a layered sense of pattern, texture, and color to the space.

Hand-Embroidered Pillows, Hudson Yards

Our pillows were featured throughout a Related Companies designer suite by Frampton Co at Hudson Yards, where art-driven interiors, sculptural furnishings, and bold color shaped the space. The selection included signature Judy Ross designs such as Composition, Eclipse, Slice, and Prism, thoughtfully layered to complement the space’s expressive use of pattern and form.

Custom Pillows for Hamptons Home

An assortment of our custom hand-embroidered pillows in tones of mauve, purple, claret, and raspberry for a Hamptons beach house designed by Amy Lau and featured in Galerie Magazine.

Custom Hand-embroidered panels for Yacht, Monaco

Todhunter Earl Interiors commissioned two custom embroidered fabric wall panels from us through Saffron Interior Arts for a special yacht project. The motifs are hand-embroidered on the client's fabric, and the layout and colors were customized to fit the dimensions and look of the yacht. This yacht has won four awards for interior design.

Hand-embroidered pillows for Design Miami

Designer Amy Lau, who was instrumental in the founding of Design Miami in 2005, commissioned us to create custom-colored Procession and Seed pillows for a featured townhouse at the design event. Our bespoke pillows were designed to complement  the mid-century aesthetic, with its richly layered furnishings and a thoughtfully curated palette.

Fauna wool Staircase on the Upper West Side

For architect Robert Khan, Judy Ross Textiles created this hand-knotted Tibetan wool runner to cover 3 flights of stairs in an Upper West Side townhouse. Judy customized the Fauna design by enlarging the pattern to fit the shape and dimension of each landing and stair, resulting in a bold, dramatic statement.

Embroidered Pillows in Fine Rayon

For this children’s room designed by Amy Lau, we created a custom geometric design that ties into the room’s overall color palette.

Silk Shag, Chelsea Loft

A beautiful project with Shamir Shah Design, we created a lush 30mm 100 knot, handknotted rug in a neutral to compliment the hanging textiles sculpture.

Hand-embroidered Linen Stools

We collaborated with India Mahdavi to create a series of hand-embroidered stools featuring our Procession, Fauna, Streamers and Shells linen fabrics. Custom-designed for each piece, the embroidery was meticulously tailored to the form of the stools and executed in fine rayon thread on linen, highlighting the beauty of artisanal craftsmanship and detail.

Judy collaborated with Eve Robinson Designs to create a custom Fauna-printed fabric for her home. In the Hamptons living room, the chairs are upholstered in this bespoke fabric. The room is further enhanced by a pair of custom-designed Seed print pillows, created specifically to complement the space.

Custom Pillows for a Quogue home

Designed exclusively for a summer retreat in Quogue, these hand-embroidered pillows were created in custom colors, motifs, and proportions to perfectly suit the home.

Eames Seat Covers, Design Miami

Hand-embroidered chainstitch seat covers for the famous Eames Wire Chairs in Fauna, Static, and Vines designs. Featured in the first ever Design Miami in 2005.
